We have an open purchase policy where you can cancel your tickets within 24 hours after purchase if you have bought your tickets on our website or app. If you have purchased your tickets less than 24 hours before departure, you can cancel your tickets up to 12 hours before departure time. To cancel your ticket, click on “manage booking” on your booking confirmation.
If you have purchased a cancelable ticket, you may cancel your trip right up until the departure time if no other special conditions prevent you from doing so. When canceling a trip, you will be refunded for the price of the ticket at the time of the booking. We do not take any administrative fees for canceling tickets.
Unfortunately, no refunds are given to those who have missed the train and have not cancelled their tickets before departure. We consider the ticket used.
IN CASE OF ILLNESS
In case of illness, you may be able to get a full refund of your ticket’s price at the time of purchase by sending us a doctor’s note. In these special cases, a doctor’s note needs to include the doctor’s name, phone number and stamp. If a stamp cannot be provided, then a copy of the doctor’s ID should be attached to your claim. The doctor’s note needs to include the date and diagnosis that emphasis that the patient could not have travelled on the trip’s date due to illness.
A lost private ticket is refunded according to MTR Express (Sweden) AB’s purchase conditions. A lost ticket that is not private will not be refunded.
WHAT DOES YOUR TICKETS INCLUDE?
A ticked booked in FIX is non-cancelable. You are assigned a seat 24 hours before departure. If you should like to be able to choose your seat, you can add that option for an extra fee.
When traveling in FLEX, you have the option of changing your ticket to travel on an earlier or a later departure than that of your original departure free of charge. You can change your departure only through our mobile app. You may also cancel your ticket completely and take a different departure if you have a change of plans. We do not take any administrative fees for canceling tickets. Seat reservation is included in FLEX.
1 KLASS PLUS
When traveling in 1 KLASS PLUS, you have the option of changing your ticket to travel on an earlier or a later departure than that of your original departure free of charge. You can change your departure only through our mobile app. Similar to travelling in FLEX, you may also cancel your ticket completely and take a different departure if you have a change of plans.
In 1 KLASS PLUS, a complimentary meal will be served to you on your seat as will daily newspapers, and free beverages such as coffee, tea, and water. Seat reservation is included in 1 KLASS PLUS.
However, we cannot guarantee meals if you have booked less than 24 hours before departure time.
