We have an open purchase policy where you can cancel your tickets within 24 hours after purchase if you have bought your tickets on our website or app. If you have purchased your tickets less than 24 hours before departure, you can cancel your tickets up to 12 hours before departure time. To cancel your ticket, click on “cancel ticket” on your booking confirmation.
If you have purchased a cancelable ticket, you may cancel your trip right up until the departure time if no other special conditions prevent you from doing so. When canceling a trip, you will be refunded for the price of the ticket at the time of the booking. We do not take any administrative fees for canceling tickets.
Unfortunately, no refunds are given to those who have missed the train and have not cancelled their tickets before departure. We consider the ticket used.
IN CASE OF ILLNESS
In case of illness, you may be able to get a full refund of your ticket’s price at the time of purchase by sending us a doctor’s note. In these special cases, a doctor’s note needs to include the doctor’s name, phone number and stamp. If a stamp cannot be provided, then a copy of the doctor’s ID should be attached to your claim. The doctor’s note needs to include the date and diagnosis that emphasis that the patient could not have travelled on the trip’s date due to illness.
A lost private ticket is refunded according to MTR Express (Sweden) AB’s purchase conditions. A lost ticket that is not private will not be refunded.
WHAT DOES YOUR TICKETS INCLUDE?
FIX is our cheapest ticket and as they name implies it cannot be cancelled or rebooked. Free WiFi and seat reservation are included.
When traveling in FLEX, you can cancel your ticket free of charge if you have a change of plans. On the departure day you can also change your ticket to the departure before or after your original departure free of charge. We call this “Same day change”. To cancel or rebook your ticket choose “Manage booking” in your booking confirmation email. Free WiFi and seat reservation are also included.
1 CLASS PLUS
When traveling in 1 CLASS PLUS, you have the same flexibility as with a FLEX ticket – you can change departure free of charge on the travel day and you can cancel your ticket.
In 1 CLASS PLUS, a complimentary meal will be served to you on your seat as will daily newspapers, and free beverages such as coffee, tea, and water. Free WiFi and seat reservation are also included.
However, we cannot guarantee meals if you have booked less than 24 hours before departure time.
